Pump Up The Power Get The Life You Want

This month’s book club pick is jam packed. The book only has 133 pages but it has everything you want in a self help book.

With 43 chapters you would think it’ll take you forever to read Pump Up The Power. Each chapter is laid out like a book of affirmations or a daily devotional. Also, each chapter has a Power Nugget which gives the subject a big kick in the pants driving it home for the reader.

In the back of the book is a separate list of all the affirmations and a separate list of all the power nuggets. Having a book laid out this way gives the reader a quick reference guide.

Lastly you will find a page for you to write in your own favorite affirmations whether directly from Pump Up the Power or ones you think of yourself. Then there’s a page for your favorite Power Nuggets.

Since this is my first book from Rebecca Simmons, I am impressed. I can tell this work is a labor of love. Each chapter is well thought out and laid out. Rebecca’s personal insights show she has been there and done the exact same things as we have. Nothing is imaginary with Rebecca’s writing.
